Tuition and fees

Sandpoint Waldorf School remains one of the most affordable Waldorf schools in the country because of a strong belief that Waldorf education should be accessible to all. SWS strives to keep tuition costs as low as possible as well as offering tuition adjustment for families in need. Tuition and fees can change every year. Tuition is only one part of covering the cost of education.  The remaining budget is raised through a variety of community events and fundraisers which give parents the opportunity to leverage their strengths to support the school. Starting in the 2026–2027 school year, Sandpoint Waldorf School is excited to introduce updated Kindergarten and 1st grade program options designed to better support the needs of our children and families.

Families may now choose between full-day, morning, or hybrid scheduling options for select programs, offering greater flexibility while maintaining the warmth, rhythm, and play-based foundation of Waldorf education. Morning programs end at 12:45 PM in Kindergarten, and 1 PM in 1st grade, while full-day programs continue through 3:00 PM. The Hybrid program is a combination schedule: Monday–Wednesday are full days ending at 3:00 PM. Thursday and Friday are morning programs, ending at 12:45 PM for Kindergarten and 1:00 PM for 1st Grade
