Acceptance

An acceptance decision means that we found a healthy partnership with the family, and we think that a student will be set up for success in our school. Priority acceptance is offered to siblings of current students, and those in the waitpool. If classes are filled, your child will be accepted into the waitpool.

Waitpool

The wait pool begins once classes fill each Spring. Spaces that become available in a given class will be filled from the waiting pool.

  • Spaces become available due to withdrawals or canceled enrollments and are therefore difficult to predict. Family plans may change throughout the summer, creating availability before the beginning of the upcoming school year.

  • Priority in the wait pool depends on; sibling of a current enrolled student, parent/guardian employed by SWS, and prior Waldorf school experience.

Declined

An applicant is declined when it is determined that we cannot adequately meet the needs of a student. The enrollment process allows us to determine if SWS is the best place for them to learn and grow. We are a small independent school that has capacity constraints in some areas like Educational Support and Special Education services.
