List and Description of Annual Events
Following is a list of the annual events held by Sandpoint Waldorf School. This list does not include the many other events that can occur throughout the year. To see which events are already scheduled please reference the school calender on this website.

Christmas Faire
The school is transformed for a holiday party that includes wares by local crafters, children’s crafts, puppet shows, holiday music and good food. This event is open to the school community as well as anyone else who would like to attend.

Advent Spiral
A Waldorf tradition the meaning of which is completely internalized by all who participate. This event is open to the school community as well as anyone else who would like to attend.
Main Lesson Tours
Take a journey through the grades during morning main lesson time and observe grades 1 through 8 in session and learn more about the magic of Waldorf education. Adults only. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Please call the school to reserve a place.

Introduction to Preschool and Kindergarten
You and your 3, 4 or 5-year-old child are invited to attend a sample early childhood class. Together you will experience songs, rhymes, stories, creative play, and art that are the makings of a typical day. Come and meet the special teachers who bring this gentle, child-centered educational method to life. Call the school to reserve a place.

May Faire
Come celebrate spring with games, songs, music, a picnic and, of course, the Maypole Dance. This event is open to the school community as well as anyone else who would like to attend.
